Start With a New York State Career Center
New York's Department of Labor directs job seekers to local Career Centers for training assistance. If you want to use Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act funding, talk to a Career Center before signing a contract or paying a non-refundable school deposit.
Eligible Training Provider List
New York maintains an Eligible Training Provider List that can be searched by training provider and course offering. The Department of Labor specifically cautions that a program's presence on the list is not an endorsement, a guarantee of accreditation or licensing, or a guarantee that WIOA money will be approved for a particular person.
Verify the Exact CDL Program
A school may offer multiple programs, and workforce eligibility can attach to a specific program rather than every course the school sells. Federal ELDT Still Applies

Employer-Paid Training
