For a CDL transaction covered by federal Entry-Level Driver Training, the provider must meet the federal Training Provider Registry requirements for the training it delivers. Verify the provider and the specific training category you need before enrolling.

Understand Ohio’s Training-Hour Rules

Ohio’s licensed-school rules require at least 40 hours of theory plus 40 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction for Class A training. • The school cannot show its applicable Ohio approval or federal TPR status.
